I grew up in Chicago Ridge and attended Richards High School.
I have been in the automotive industry since I was 10 years old.
Spending time with my wife and two kids is a favorite past time.
I started at Phillips in 2005 as a service advisor. I really enjoy my
job and take pride in assisting all our guests, which helped me
work my way up to service director. My goals are to make certain our
guests' vehicles are fixed right and in a timely manner.

The reason for this visit was a failure of my power steering motor. I have a 2007, HHR the 09's and 2010 HHR's, were recalled for the same power steering motor failures. The earlier models were not part of the recall but do share the same motors. The unit in my HHR finally failed. I was aware of the recalls and GM's desire to retro the recalls to earlier models, etc. I called GM and spoke to a customer care agent. They contacted Phillips on my behalf. I emailed and spoke to Phillips myself. I was told to bring the vehicle in for assessment. Phillips replaced the power steering unit at no charge to me. I've had a lot of recalls on this vehicle, and GM has a lot of design issues on the HHR's, so I have a history with the dealer. In my case all of the issues were addressed and taken care of as it should've. Dan Kachinsky, the service manager, has gone above and beyond for me on several major issues with this HHR. I had warranty/recall service at other dealers in other locals and wasn't satisfied with their resolutions to my problems. So in my case Phillips Chevrolet has been the best car dealership I've ever dealt with. Phillips has done right by me!

This is our third vehicle purchased from Phillips. The Cruze is our daughter's first car which will head back to college in Philadelphia August 19th.
